Series LFN55B-M1 Water Pressure Reducing Valves are engineered for use in both commercial and residential plumbing systems to regulate incoming water pressure, helping to protect system components and reduce overall water consumption. Constructed with a Lead Free* brass body, the valve includes an integral stainless steel strainer, a thermoplastic seat, and a bronze sealed spring cage, making it suitable for waterworks pit installations. It also features a thermal expansion bypass for added system protection.
The LFN55B-M1 is available with a variety of end connection options, including threaded, solder, PEX, quick-connect, CPVC, press, and cold expansion PEX (ASTM F1960), offering flexibility for different installation requirements. Valves come preset at 50 psi (345 kPa), with an adjustable reduced pressure range from 25 to 75 psi (172 to 517 kPa), and supports a maximum working pressure of 400 psi (27.6 bar). For enhanced functionality, models with gauge port tapping are available, allowing for convenient downstream pressure measurement and system diagnostics.
